He came to the United States in 1979 at a young age and began working with Overhead Door Co. installing garage doors for Pulte Homes, where his excellent work ethic was noticed and he was recruited to work as an assistant to a builder and continued his engineering studies. While working with Pulte Homes, he achieved “Top Builder” awards year after year. After a time, he was put in charge of developing the subdivisions and running production for these large tract builders, Pulte and Lennar. Al met Betty in 1995 while she was a sales representative for building materials. They married in 1997 and in 1999 became independent custom home builders and later incorporated in 2001. Al builds the homes and Betty runs the administration of their company. Their youngest son, Nicolas graduated in 2017 and is now learning the business under his father, Al.
