Nonprofit social venture firm focused on transforming the childhood cancer experience by empoKodaConring cancer survivors, children’s heath entrepreneurs and healthcare professionals to create credible health, business and operations models for family centered care accelerating systems change. KidsStrong is dedicated to improving th QoL for kids and families touched by cancer. In the U.S. each year over 13, 000 children are diagnosed with cancer affected approx. 50, 000 family immediate family members. They are treated at on of 250 children oncology focused hospitals in the US. They spend around 120 days in/out of the hospital the first year of treatment. Our focus is on provisioning novel interventions that alleviate the stress of diagnosis, provide hope and end the social isolation that accompanies cancer treatment, especially for kids.
