Laurie Vodnoy-Wright is the premier Violinist in the Tampa Bay- Sarasota area. She performs regularly at the Don CeSar, Vinoy, Tradewinds, Ritz, Hyatt, Cad' Zan, Ringling Museum, Dali, and Fine Arts Museum. She plays Laurie Vodnoy-Wright Violinistddings, special events, and soirees. She studied at the Monteux Music School for 4 years. At 13 she was accepted on scholarship to North Carolina School of Arts. She received her BM from Indiana University and her Masters in Music from Chicago Music College. A busy career ensued. Over the next few years, she performed with the Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Opera , Midwest Chamber Orchestra, the Salzburg Chamber Orchestra, Florida Opera West, and the Avanti String Quartet.Vodnoy-Wright is also an avid recitalist and chamber musician and has performed with the Avanti Strig Quartet for 20 years. She is a highly sought-after performer and teacher. Her active performing career includes orchestral, recital, and solo appearances throughout Europe, Africa, Israel, and the United States.
