M/S Modern Woollens introduce ourselves as Modern woollens (A unit of Modern threads (I) Ltd.), a prestigious unit of ?MODERN GROUP?, situated at Bhilwara (Rajasthan) in India. In 1987, the company started its all wool & blended worsted yarn and wool tops manufacturing with technical assistance from Platt Saco Lowell Ltd., U.K.

Products:

Raw white and Dyed worsted yarns manufactured from best quality merino wool from Australia. The Pure wool, Polyester/Wool and wool blended yarns from modern woollens are suitable for Knitted and Woven fabrics. All type of yarns is autoconed, electronically cleared and spliced.

Blends and Count Range: Yarn

Wool 100%, Wool/Polyester, Wool/Nylon, Wool/Silk, Wool/Cashmere

Conventional : Nm 24 to Nm 120 count, single and two-fold yarn in wool 100%,
                      Wool/Polyester - Blend ratio 20/80 to 80/20, Wool/Nylon ? Blend ratio
   80/20, Wool/Silk ? Blend ratio 90/10.

Siro :  Nm 40 to Nm 90 count ? Wool 100% and Wool/Polyester blends.

Siro and core Lycra (Elastane) yarns

Crepe Yarns (High Twist)

Wool Noil - & Lanolin ( By products of Wool)

Capacity:
Total production capacity of the worsted yarn is 1800 Tons per annum and Wool tops production capacity is 2400 Tons per annum.
Wool Noil- 60 tons per annum & Lanolin- 75 tons per annum.
