Maxis Corporation is a merged company of Tokushu Kouzai and Juki Buhin. Tokushu Kouzai was established in 1951 and Juki Buhin was established in 1966. Tokushu Kozai was a company sells special steels to Japanese major manufacturers. Juki Buhin sold parts for construction machinery and equipment. In 1996, the two companies merged together and formed Maxis Corporation. The merger was to complement both company mutually and to expand sales. Maxis acquired Tokiron as its subsidiary company in 2003.
