McIntyre & Zhang has been established as an agency for the purpose of exporting NZ radiata pine products. Future expansion of business is expected to be in importing manufactured goods from Asian countries. McIntyre & Zhang Ltd will only deal with established timber trade companies with a history of reliability & ability to deliver large quantities of timber at competitive prices. When importers enquire about timber resources they are requested to supply details of their requirements such as: a. Grade of radiata pine; b. Size of the timber product; c. Purpose of the timber (for construction, furniture manufacture etc.); d. Whether rough sawn or D4S; e. When delivery is needed. Prices will need to be negotiated prior to consignment. Once we have the importers requirements, we will contact NZ suppliers to gain the best price, delivery dates etc. The company director, who is the sole trader at present, has been a foreign teacher in Dalian for 8 years. He wishes to maintain contact with China through the medium of trade.
