Mortar Man supply a dry mix mortar (sand and cement) in FORTY kg bags, an ideal export product and offer an opportunity to those companies that specialise in the import and export of locally produced products.

This product is produced in the MORTAR Man Pty Ltdstern Cape and is being used by local builders and developers who have benefited from using it on their building construction projects. It is a matter of adding water to the dry mix, which produces a consistently mixed quality mortar suitable for bricklaying and plastering (rendering).

The sand is dried at SIX HUNDRED DEGREES and mixed with high grade Portland cement through a computerised batching process to produce the perfect mix. The mix is to SABS and NHBRC standards and has been consistently tested at SEVEN Mpa after TWENTY EIGHT days curing.

Benefits to the builder are: increased productivity; quality bricklaying and plastering; reduced wastage of materials; reduced labour for mixing; reduced impact on the environment. A further benefit is that of raw materials as the builder does not have to purchase sand and cement as separate items thus elevating stock and wastage controls. These benefits ultimately reduced building costs which of course improves the bottom line profits.

In a number of African and Middle-Eastern countries building sand is a scarce commodity, which is an ongoing supply problem to developers and builders and therefore we believe the export opportunities into these countries are vast.
