ABOUT COMPANY Mumtaz Trading was established in 1998 by Mumtaz Malik. The company has started trading businesses locally as Mumtaz Tradingll as internationally over the years. In the year 2004 the company had turned into herbal skin care and treatment manufacturer with the brand name of Olio de Pegaga (In Malay is known as Minyak daun Pegaga). The scientific name for this herbal leaves is Centella Asiatica. The brand name Olio de Pegaga was given by the founder�s second son Mr. Malik Rizwan. Mumtaz Trading has been aggressively producing Olio de Pegaga from traditional way to the modern technology yet preserving the traditional method of cold pressed. Mumtaz Trading and UTM (CEPP) had done research on Centella Asiatica and found that this herbal leaves is very good for skin treatment. Now the company has become a family business and is managed by her elder son Mr. Muzafar Ali Reza History of Olio de Pegaga Mumtaz Malik�s passion on herbs has turned her into herbalist. Nature and holistic believer had helped her to cure her Eczema in between her fingers with the Pegaga leaves (Centella Asiatica) which she had suffered for about 25 year�s despite using many other clinical drug based skin products. This had lead her to do more experiments on the Centella Asiatica leaves and began to explore into many types of skin diseases and found that this leaves is the cure for many skin diseases. During the early stage of Olio de Pegaga, Mumtaz Malik with the help of Dr. Fredy who is a medical doctor in Batam, Indonesia has tested the oil on few patients who has been suffering from several skin diseases and the results was positive. With full confidence from the positive feedback, Mumtaz Malik started to commercialize Olio de Pegaga.
