Company Description

Mackerel are maritime fish that are caught
eastern coastal area of Japan.
There are two types of mackerel, common and southern mackerels.
The difference of the two common mackerel is the size and the shape.
Common mackerel is larger and lean and good for processing.
Southern mackerel has dark spots in the belly and rather round body.
Murakane Fishery Co., Ltd. have good fishing ground for southern mackerel in the coastal area of Yaizu where we are located and we have large fish haul throughout the year.
Many of the fish processing companies in Japan process the mackerel and freeze them before
shipping them out. The packing methods are regular cardboard packing and freezer pallet
packing.
The size of the cardboard varies from 10kg, 15kg to 20kg. We can tie the cardboard box
with plastic belt and put the plastic label on it.
As per the freezer pallet packing, we put13kg of mackerel and 2kg of water then freeze it and
make 15kg package. The size and shape of the pallet, volume of the fish vary. We also are able
to put the fish in the plastic bag.
