If we see the history, there is great combination in art and craft between Tibetan Buddhist tradition and traditional Nepalese tradition. Main reason could be the culture and the respect of the Nepalese people in the Buddhism.
Handicraft production is an old age occupation in Nepal. The increase in export and development of handicraft in one hand helps in the conservation of national heritage of country and in other hand, contributes to alleviate poverty by creating job opportunities for hundreds of thousand people of the country.
