NZ Golden Field Ltd. have been at the leading edge of honey production, processing and packaging for over 40 years in New Zealand. Our company runs about 800 hives for honey production and does so intensively. It supplies bulk honey for manufacturing purposes but the major activity and core business is as a supplier and packer of gourmet type honeys to the tourist trade and to the specialty export market. Our company also produces the strongly antibiotic type of Manuka honey which is known as Active Manuka and which we call Healing Honey. Because of this we have an ongoing interest in the further research and use of this honey as a real and effective extension of (and alternative to) traditional western healing agents.
