Company Description

Olivia Ltd was founded in 1991 with headquarters in Lajosmizse - HUNGARY - EUROPE. Its 100% owner is Delimpex AG with headquarters in Switzerland. Rabbit meat processing is its main activity; the majority of its products will be sold by exportation. The operating area of the company is located in Hungary, it employs domestic labOlivia Ltd. force, respectively the rate of products with Hungarian origin utilized for production and product manufacturing with regard to raw materials is also high taking both feed manufacturing rabbit breeding and rabbit meat processing into consideration. The company is operated by HACCP regulations, respectively it disposes of a quality assurance system according to BRC respectively ISO 9001 standard. Auditing of regulations of environmental management system ISO 14001 and of ethical regulations of SEDEX system is also completed in terms of the entire company. The feed demand of the farms is manufactured in its own feed mill. The capacity of the feed millis sufficient to cover full internal feed demand. Factory operates according to HACCP system; manufactured feed is free of animal fat and protein. An advantage of self-manufacturing is the proper controllability of feed composition and quality. Its primary market is Switzerland, besides it supplies other EU member states respectively the proportion of Russian market is also considerable. Olivia Ltd represents such a high quality, which is also acknowledged by customers. Besides the company fulfils all regulations, a particular attention is paid to consideration of animal welfare aspects. Animals delivered to the slaughterhouse are allowed to consume only the feed manufactured and supervised in our own production, and these animals are continuously kept in a very high level husbandry system right from their birth. Feed mill, rabbit farms and also the slaughterhouse are operated by EU regulations, which are regularly controlled and maintained. This is the reason why our company supplies many internationally accepted companies (HIPP and Nestlé) with rabbit meat as source material for baby food. Olivia Ltd has been engaged in research and development activity for many years. It maintains a close co-operation with University of Kaposvár and owing to this co-operation several researches and developments, which are also utilizable in actual practice, have been realized at the company. Their main subject is the development of rabbit breeding, taking especially animal welfare, healthy food manufacturing and food safety into consideration.
