Company Description

Omniplast is one of the first companies to produce high density polyethylene in eastern Canada and successfully converted stores to this new product. In 1982 Omniplast developed an extensive line of "In-stock" poly bags for "off-the-shelf" sales. The distributors could offer stock and custom printed poly bags in more than 25 fashionable colors to their small independent customers. In 1992 Omniplast reached overseas and started importing hand made paper and plastic rope handle bags, peva suit covers, and a series of other flexible packaging products to meet the growing retail demand. In 2002 Omniplast expanded its product line in order to service new industrial and commercial customers. It started to commercialize poly roll stock, poly envelops and cOmniplastier bags, wicket bags and a wide array of AICA/FDA approved poly packing products for the food industry. Omniplast today is a growing company seeking to constantly improve its product lines and better service its customers. We are proud to be the first canadian manufacturer to offer a brand new product line: the 100% oxo-biodegradable plastic bag. And the future looks bright...
