Orfi Group was established in 1986 by Mr. Ali Orfi, head of the Orfi family, who worked all the way up to be a general manager in a major import/export Company and Vice President of the Alexandria Businessmen Association until he started his own business in the field of steel trading. With two Orfi mechanical engineers, the family business was born on solid grounds and it soon gained a major share in the local market. A small company in the field of air conditioning was founded to satisfy local needs. Due to opportunities in the local market, another firm specializing in swimming pool deliveries started its activities in 1990 and grew rapidly. The founders’ vision took them into the water treatment domain, a market that is continuously growing in Egypt. Since then, a rapid increase both in size and activity lead to a leap in management forming a group entity with the purpose of containing the vast array of activities in trade, industry, agriculture, tOrfi Groupism and services. The group policy was always to be a step ahead towards universality. Their mission is to maximize shareholder returns in all existing business modules with an eye on cost, investing in the efficiency of improvements and training, finding better markets and maximizing sales.
