Oriental Shipping Company was established by its present managing director as a shipping agency in 1960 gradually picking up business on the basis of reputation built-up due to the quality of services and is now a leading component of consortium providing a variety of integrated shipping services.
Oriental Shipping Company (Pvt) Ltd group in shipping business comprises shipping agency business, chartering, terminal operator, Custom clearing, survey, stevedoring, tally, watch n ward security, bonding, warehousing, ship insurance and average adjusters thereby covering all aspects of shipping. This one window operation has cut down overheads and operative cost enabling us to offer competitive and quality services.
Oriental Shipping offers a full agency service, covering all cargo requirements and documentation, inward and outward clearance, ordering of pilot, tugs, stevedores and other services for and on behalf of the Owners / Charterer, with the disbursement account being sent to the appointing party.
Oriental Shipping also offers a full supervisory service to protect the Shipowners interests in monitoring and reviewing the Charterers agency function and overseeing all the port activities. A comprehensive Owners Husbandry Agency service to ensure drydocking, repairs, spares and stores, crew matters, cash to Master and other Owners husbandry requirements are met.
The management enjoys a good reputation and harmonious working relations with port authorities, shipping department and other government agencies concerned and thus well placed to assist in solving administrative and marine related problems.
