Company Description

PharmiGene, Inc. (PGI), a company spun-off from Academia
Sinica in Taiwan, is founded in 2005 with primary focus
on the field of pharmacogenetics.PGI is dedicated to
becoming the ?PGx Engine? and to providing products
and services for the advancement of personalized
medicine. The ultimate goals to be achieved are 1) to
prevent adverse drug reactions; 2) to provide proper
dosing regimen for drugs; and 3) to improve drug
safety and efficacy.

So far, PGI has completed the technological transfer
from Academia Sinica and has obtained the ISO
13485/9001 certifications for the ?R?D and
Manufacturing for Nucleic Acid/ GeneDetections Kits?.
To integrate the products into the health care systems,
high sensitivity and specificities with quick and
easy to handle shall be the main considerations for
the product developments.
