Company Description

The principal trading activity of PIMEX GmbH, that was established in 1992, is the export and import of retreadable casings to and from wholesalers and retreadable works. Its second business segment is the distribution of part worn profile passenger tyres. PIMEX GmbH, a large used tyre trading company in Germany, has its main depot on the outskirts of a small settlement (Berssel). Partners and customers of the environmentally friendly company are spread all over the world. The destinations include the UK, Continental Europe, PIMEX GmbHst and South Africa, South America, Russia and Asia. As a matter of fact we offer our long distance travelled customers accomodation and catering on site. Because of a cleverly devised logistic system the company has always 2.500.000 tyres in 3 stocks. After collecting by the company�s own fleet of vehicles, the tyres of nearly all leading manufacturers get examined, sorted and prepared for export. Reliable workers classify the tyres in over one hundred categories; size, quality, depth of profile and speed markings are only some of the assortment�s characteristics. After the non-retreadable tyres have been sorted out, a first visual examination and a checkup with air pressure follows. Tyres checked and sorted in such a way then are devided into prompt resale or short-dated storage. Before the sale takes place, there is a second visual and air pressure check, so we make sure that our customers always get the desired products. PIMEX GmbH is T�V- certificated and has a German Environmental Office authorisation. It is also an authorised plant under the German Federal Emission Control Law for acceptance, assortment and storage of scrap iron and used tyres.
