The bulgarian company "PLANTABUL" Ltd., in Shumen, was established in 1996 with the conception of processing and export of wild medicinal plants. Later cultivated and essential-oily plants Plantabul Ltdre introduced in the industrial process parallel with wild medicinal plants. ‘PLANTABUL” LTD deals with more than 50 medicinal plants and herbs and their parts – leaves, flowers, stems, barks, peels, roots, seeds. Today the main activities of the company include not only buying up, processing and export of herbs and fruits, but also improving of the technological processes in conformity with the requirements of European standards: HACCP, Certificate for organic medicinal plants, walnuts in shell and walnut kernels (Imo), ISO. “PLANTABUL” LTD deals with more than 60 organic products with proven origin and quality, which are produced from ecologically cleaned and organic certified Bulgarian regions. Because of the seasonal character of herbs and aiming at providing all people, involved in herb processing, with permanent jobs, the company enlarged its production taking up preparation of conventional and organic walnuts in shell and walnut kernels. The bases of the company are equipped with an evaporator, presses, calibrators, conveyor belts, coloursorting machines for walnut kernels and sunflower seeds, sorting machinery, vertical-cutting machine for herbs, etc. The products of the company reach all regions of the world.
