PROFILE Introduction PMIL was registered under Business Names Act in the Republic of Malawi in July 1998 and was incorporated as a Limited Private Company in June 1999. Administratively PMIL has its Head Office in LilongProduce Mart International Limited, the Central region of Malawi and has seven shop outlets in the most rural areas. We plan to open additional shops in all the three regions to a maximum of 30 as part of future expansion. The vision is to have a presence in every rural trading centre and provide a one stop shop for the farmers thereby contributing to the social and economic development of the country Currently, PMIL has 15 employees Experience Its staff has over 22 years of work experience in agri inputs marketing, corporate strategy, corporate finance, and information processing and project management and also in total quality management and agro processing. Trained by International Centre for Soil Fertility and Agricultural Development (IFDC) USA and German in agricultural inputs, agro processing and Quality Control Management We are also a consulting firm and currently working on subsidy project for the Government of Mozambique and Federal Government of Nigeria. The Managing Director has worked for the major inputs providers in Malawi and was responsible for their set up. He currently facilitates training and capacity building for agri input companies in product knowledge, marketing, stock management and demand forecasting. We have fertilizer marketing data from as far as 1964 and the market development in Malawi Experience in International fertilizer markets Vision A satisfied customer through efficient delivery and customer services Mission Statement PMIL would like to take the lead in supporting the farmer and industrial customer by providing essential Agri-inputs and other commodities from a site as close as possible to them thereby satisfying and contributing towards a better standard of living for the farming community a
