Progresso Global Trading Services

Company Description

Company Profile

The Carsa Group was established by an important group of Mexican entrepreneurs led my majority partner Jose I. Andrade to extract and sell coal for international exportation in order to create economic growth and prosperity to the state of Coahuila and the country of Mexico

The group was authorized via formal decree by the Mexican government to extract, and export coal from the extensive mines in the state of Coahuila. About 95% of Mexico's coal reserves are found in Coahuila, which is the country's top mining state. Coahuila is one of Mexico's thirty one (31) component states and it's located in the northern section of the country. To the north, Coahuila accounts for 512 kilometers (318 mile) stretch of the U.S. -Mexico border, adjacent to the U.S. state of Texas along the cProgresso Global Trading Servicesse of the Rio Grande (Rio Bravo del Norte).

Coahuila also borders the Mexican states of Nuevo Leon to the east, Zacatecas and San Luis Potosi to the south, and Durango and Chihuahua to the west. With an area of 151,571 square kilometers (58,521.0 sq mi.), it is the nation's third-largest state and it comprises thirty eight (38) municipalities. The current population in Coahuila is approximately 2,800,000 inhabitants. The capital of Coahuila and its largest city is Saltillo and Coahuila also includes the cities of Torreon (the largest metropolitan area of the state but part of this metro area is in the neighboring state of Durango), Monclova (a former state capital), Piedras Negras, and Ciudad Acuna.

The primary purpose for the establishment of Carsa Group is to develop a diversified domestic and international clientele that would purchase competitively coal extracted from the mines in Coahuila. As a result of this endeavor, the region and local economy would greatly benefit directly from any economic resources resulting from above business apportunities. The primary and important client of Carsa Group is the country's electricity company, Commision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) which currently has contracted for up to 80,000 metric tons of coal on a monthly basis.

Finally, the region of Coauila has extraordinary reserves and capacity to extract coal for an estimated 150 years and for this reason the Commision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) has built and constructed one of the most importnat electrical plants for the country in the region.

We are an industrial mining company that produces coal in Mexico for local power plants and steel companies in the area. We have large quantities for reserves that we are ready to export out of the Country. We are now wanting to export our coal so that we can expand our productions to other countries and thus provide more labor for our workers. We are looking for growth opportunities to export our coal to other countries. We also own pecan farms and distribute by wholesale and import pecans from Mexico to the USA. We are also distributors of silica sand for the cement, glass, steel industries in Mexico.
