Company Description

Bioplaneta is a Mexican non-profit that arose several years ago in response to the thousands of Mexican communities and small businesses that Red Bioplanetare struggling to commercialise their products and services without being forced to undersell to the highest international bidder.  We are a national network of rural and self-sustained cooperative organizations committed to the environment, Fair Trade and the improvement of the living standards of its members.  We are a tool through which rural community oriented businesses can obtain advice on how to maintain or improve the quality of their products as well as assistance in the commercialisation of their products and services.  We are dedicated to the preservation and conservation of Mexico's natural resources, forests and wildlife.
This year is the first in which we are actively looking to enter the international market with our products and ecotouristic services.  Our network is made up of 58 cooperatives and businesses in 13 states in Mexico, of those which produce a wide range of products (natural cosmetics, artisan products, organic coffee, agricultural products, etc.)
Our main goal, as a non-profit organization, is to promote and sell the products and services of our producers and additionally to promote the concepts of sustainable development and fair trade in the international market.
We feel that Bioplaneta is, and will be even more so in the future, an extremely important resource for the small Mexican producers that we work to support.  We would like to take this opportunity to create international alliances with organizations and businesses such as your own in looking to work with people and groups that are concerned with sustainable development and helping to provide an fair wage and a high quality of life for all people, independent of their vocation.
