Company Description

 
In 1978 RMP Bearings Co. was established. Initially the production of Thrust Bearings was started.
 
In 1983 Special type of Textile Bearings production was started. In just 1 year of installation.(In 1984) Bearings RMP Bearings Ltdre approved by Textile giant Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd. Coimbatore.
 
In 1986 Clutch release bearing & Single Raw Deep Groove Ball Bearings were developed, for Auto OE industries. In next decade RMP started to supply auto bearings to Auto industries. As one after another to its OE supplier.
 
In 1990 RMP Started exporting Thrust Bearings.
 
In next two decade RMP added wide range of Automobile bearings & components. For OE as well as after market replacement, along with steering races & cages for Auto OE industries.
 
RMP was the first company in India to manufacture sheet metal yokes (6-8 mm) for Universal Joint Steering Columns, for Hyundai Motor through Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. as tire II supplier for their  Indian & Export market. As well as Nexteer Automotive Corporation(US), for there local and export requirements.

Our Steering Column Bearings were approved by Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. through their Japanese technical colobration.
 
RMP was awards ISO 9002 certificate by TUV in 1998. QS 9000 certificate was awards by TUV in Oct.2002 & final ISO:TS:16949 was given Oct.2008 & till date it is continued.
