RYS BIOMED (M) SDN BHD distributes today&＃039;s most advanced Ames mutagenicity assays (microfluctuation assays) and cytotoxicity screening kits designed to reduce the amount of test compound, hands-on time and consumables. The Ames II / Ames MPF Microfluctuation Assays are all modifications of the traditional Ames plate incorporation assay. The Ames II assay uses the S. typhimurium strains TA98 and TAMix (a mixture of 6 strains, each detecting a specific base-pair substitution), whereas the Ames MPF® kits are available with the strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537, ***** WP2 uvrA or ***** WP2 pKM101. The Cytotoxicity Screening Kits enable the user to determine up to four cytotoxicity parameters from the same cellular sample! (PAN I: LDHe-XTT-NR-SRB). This is particularly useful in situations of limited compound availability and with valuable or rare test cells such as primary cultures. A full range of parameters is offered: XTT, MTT, Lactate Dehydrogenase, Sulforhodamine B, Neutral Red, Crystal Violet, Acid Phosphatase, Glucose. Genotoxitcity and cytotoxicity assays are used by major pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic industries, but also by authorities analyzing for environmental toxicants, by CROs, research labs of universities and hospitals.
