China Minmetals Changsha Mining Research Institute Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956. Covering an area of 170,000 square meters, the company is located at the foot of the scenic Yuelu Mountains and on the bank of Xiangjiang River. It is a member of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holdings Group Co. Ltd., with a total staff of 1,200 people, of whom more than 670 are scientific and technical personnel, including 5 young and middle aged experts with national-level outstanding contributions, 52 experts who enjoy special government allowances, 32 master instructors, and 248 senior technical and economic specialists.
S & S Technology is a hi-tech subsidiary of the Institute, which is one of the earliest companies in China being engaged in the research, development and production of oxyhydrogen generators. It now has a production site covering an area of more than 3,000 square meters and necessary production equipment, production lines, testing equipment, and component aging screening equipment, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 sets.
