Saudi rockwool factory was established in 1992 in riyadh city industrial area, to satisfy the needs of the local and international market for mineral wool (rockwool) thermal, acoustic and fire resistance insulation products
Products are produced by melting and spinning basalt volcanoes rocks into fine fibers Which is then bonded with special thermosetting resin to form rigid slabs or flexible rolls.
The main products are:

Products can be faced with different types of facing materials according to the required application, the main used facing materials are:
- aluminum foil
- hexagonal galvanized or stainless steel wire mesh
- fluting, kraft, or bitumen paper
- polyethylene bags
- black or white fiberglass tissue
Products are normally backed shrinkage polyethylene bags or cartons (pipe section and ceiling tiles)
