Over decades of research on antenna technology, Dr.Cheon-woo shin and his collaborators founded SawWave in June 2011 in Busan, Korea. The goal is to provide the most efficient wireless communication platform to support ever exploding data traffic in the 21st century.

Based on Sawwave Co., Ltd. proprietary Synchronized Orthogonal Multi-Polarization Antenna (SOMPA)technology, SawWave proved its core competency since incorporation. We accomplished oversea WiFi transmission distance of 200km (124 miles) with 10mW of output power at 2.4GHz with bit rate of 5Mbps. To our best knowledge, it is by far the world best record of power-distance power wattage performance.

Moreover, SOMPA is inherently immune to interference in between the adjacent frequencies or even the same frequency so suit best for LTE and LTE advanced technology that requires Multi-In-Multi-Out (MIMO) to increase the efficiency of wireless frequency spectrum.
