PROFILE Saudi Bulk Transport Ltd. (SBT), a premium transport company has been serving the kingdoms logistics needs for 33 years. SBT was established alongside Arabian Bulk Trade (ABT) in 1977 as a company to transport across the kingdom, the various varieties of cement and building materials imported by ABT. These companies are part of a large group of companies under the Xenel umbrella. Xenel was founded in 1973 by the descendants of one of the oldest trading houses in the Middle East. SBT was the pioneer in bulk transport and handling of the premium imports serving the booming construction industry in Saudi Arabia. As it gained logistics know how and substantial goodwill of its customers, it decided to offer a new form of specialized time definitive express transport. This new service was established in 1998 under the brand of “SENDDEX”. During its decade of existence, SENDDEX has maintained the SBT reputation and has evolved into a 3PL service provider with warehousing and distribution services also offered.
