Shanghai JAYI was established in 1992. With decades of years' experience, Shanghai Jianyin Food Science And Technology Co., Ltd. have been continuing to strive for progress and innovation, and devoting ourselves to food, food additives, food machinery, food engineering technology and research & development of other professional food fields, which gained remarkable science & technology achievements in the industry. Now our company has developed into a nationally well-known food science & technology enterprise, and one of the Top one hundred enterprises in Food additives and ingredients industry in China. We are the governing unit of China Food Additives Association, Shanghai Food Association and Shanghai Society of Food Science, and the vice presidential unit of Shanghai Food Additive Industry Association.

Our company has established close college-enterprise cooperative relationships with University of Shanghai for Science & Technology, Shanghai Ocean University, Hunan Agricultural University, Changsha University, Yantai University, Shanghai Institute of Technology, Xuzhou Institute of Technology, Sichuan Agricultural University and other colleges. Our company has been the research & internship base of some colleges. We collaborate and multi-levelly cooperate with Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Our company has a close connection with the Communist Youth League of China, and is identified as the Central Committee of The Communist Young League Entrepreneurship Base. In recent years, we have made great efforts to create the platform of Shanghai JAYI Food Science & Technology Innovation Seminar and strengthened the contact with industry colleagues at home, integrating resources and making progress together. We hope to lead the new trend of food science & technology and compound food additives of China. Until now, we have hosted four sessions of seminars which had been attended by more than 1200 scholars, experts and elites. We have achieved a series of remarkable success.

We have a 20-acre land in Shanghai Nanxiang High Technology Park, where we built JAYI Science & Technology Park which integrates research, detecting, pilot scale experiment, production, training and other functions in one. Our company has more than 150 employees, among whom over 60% are scientific and technical persons. There are 3 professor-level senior engineers, 10 intermediate professional title persons, 6 persons who possess the master degree or above and 3 young scholars who are returned from overseas.

Our company is specialized in different kinds of agricultural and sideline product deep processing projects, novel food production projects, feasibility study of food freshness preserving technology projects, engineering food design, equipment selection, technology transfer, product supervision and various technical services. We have hundreds of successful cases, including Taixing Ginkgo Deep Processing, Xiaogan Rice Wine, Xiaoshan Pickled Radish Color & Freshness Preservation and other key projects with impact on the regional economic development. Our company is based on the domestic market while expanding to the international market, applying modern high and new food science & technology to industrial practice.

The food science & technology books written by our technical team have reached more than two million words. Books like "Beverage Production Technology and Formulation" and "The Production Technology of Fruit & Vegetable Beverage" are written by JAYI's chief director Wan Dingliang (food technology senior engineer). These are published in domestic & foreign magazines and newspapers and have received wide attention in the industry. Since August, 2000, we have co-sponsored the column of JAYI Food Science & Technology Question-And-Answer on Chinese Food Daily for several years. Until now, we have had hundreds of articles.
