Located in France and represented in more than 20 countries, with over 40 000 machining units sold, Somex SAS worldwide leader in the engineering and manufacturing of quill feed units, spindles and slide units for drilling, tapping and milling operations.
We also provide revolving, angle and multispindles heads, tool breakage control system, and flowdrilling process.
Our universal program of standard machining units is designed to be integrated in a modular construction principle into a wide variety of machine tools. Special purpose machines or evolutionary standard equipment answer the most demanding specification sheet.
Our strength: 30% from our yearly production are special designed units for specific customer&＃8217;s applications.
Thanks to our integrated engineering Dpt. and workshop, we are able to develop well fitted units that can replace your existing weak or worn-out units, or that can fit in an existing small space.
