Spitfire Semiconductors Ltd new premises, the sales office moved to Christchurch. In 2008 the sales office established a strategic link to off-shore production facility capable of 100mm CZT and MBE/LPE products. At our production laboratory based in Auckland, New Zealand, we grow the highest quality MCT crystals by a modified Bridgeman technique and process these into wafers for infra-red detector applications. Our MCT wafers and planks are valued for outstanding electrical characteristics - performance that IR professionals never expected from bulk MCT in the past. Our customers value the performance benefits our MCT can deliver to their IR devices as well as the considerable cost savings and stability of supply.
