The predecessor to Suzhou HengRun Imp & Exp Corp Ltd is Suzhou Textiles Imp & Exp Co which became one of the 500 largest foreign trade enterprises of mainland China in 1991. Undergoing the reform on its organization system, HengRun's annual export volume has exceeded US$100 million.

The Corp mainly handles the import and export of piece goods, garments, woolen knitSuzhou Hengrun Import & Export Corp., Ltd.ar, cotton knitwear and home-textile, etc, plus the foreign trade of light industry products, arts and crafts, chemical, mineral, and medical products.
