True to our vision our cigars are hand made with the finest long filler leaves available in Jalapa Valley and Esteli, Nicaragua. These leaves are 100% Cuban seed, which compare to those grown in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. Their aroma taste and consistency are of the finest quality set by the standards of �Tabacalera Lorenzo Briones S.A. Nearly a half century of extreme experience in the cigar industry has gone into the development and production of these fine cigars. Our Facility located in Esteli Nicaragua about an hour and a half drive from Managua, Nicaragua�s capital. As most Cigar Aficionados would know, Esteli is the heart and pride of Nicaragua�s Finest Cigars. Not only is Esteli the cigar making capital of Nicaragua, but also where the finest tobacco is harvested. Along with Jalapa, Esteli has become internationally known for its fine tobacco crop, used mainly for binder and filler. Ever Since the Political Exodus from Cuba around 1960, when a few tobacco growers and cigar makers first came to Nicaragua, they found the soil and climate in Esteli and Jalapa Valley to be just like that of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. At that time Pinar Del Rio was �The Cream of the Crop� when it came to the best tobacco in the world. It still produces one of the finest tobaccos in the world. Yet some experts will agree that Nicaragua has reached that plateau as harvesting the best tobacco in the world. That would explain why cigar factories in Honduras and the Dominican Republic seek Nicaragua�s finest for their fillers and binders. We are very fortunate to have one of Nicaragua�s finest, if not the best, Master Blender. He has over 35 years of cigar making experience having worked in Cuba, Honduras and Costa Rica. He spent 2 Years at the H. Upmann factory in Cuba where he obtained a Technical Degree in the process of Cuban Cigar Making.
