One of our mission statements is to reserve and spread these long-historical Chinese art to the world. Bamboo and rattan handcrafts have a long history in China, perhadps more than 2000 years. The most famous leading trade market of these kind of handcrafts is located on one tiny street in Guangzhou, called Huilong Lu. It is said that this market was established and has been coming down ever since the Qing dynasty, which is about 100-150 years ago! And my family has been doing these business for more than 3 generations. It is unfortune that in todays fast-moving era people prefer mass production products with cheap price. It is one of the reason that bamboo and rattan products, which normally produced by people's skillful hands, are facing to the fate of extinction.
