The Nature Of Soa have had a former company called The Vintage Cold Press also a Sole Proprietor for the past 3 years, selling Crafts, Vintage Jewelry, and Handmade Soaps, on Etsy.com, Ebay.com and Bonanza.com. We decided as of 01/01/2017 we would sell only the Handmade soap to concentrate on one market. So in December we opened up as The Nature Of Soap (A Sole Proprietor). For the past month we have been developing our lines on Facebook.com, Etsy.com, Instagram.com and locally in two stores. We have been trying to get a feel for our customer base and what they would like us to make. So far it is everything we make! Our customers have gone across the board and have liked a little bit of everything, so we are still in the process of learning about customers. Wholesaling might just get us a feel for a broader customer base so we can learn about customers out in the world, not so close to home. We want our customers to realize that as pretty as our soaps are and as good as they smell, they should be part of the decor of there home. You would be surprised at how fragrant your house becomes when you put soap out as decor. Our house smells wonderful all the time, of course soap is always making the rounds in our house, either being made, cut, wrapped, or mailed. There is also a new form of soap that we have started marketing "painted soap". We use the mica or acrylic paint to either freehand a bar or fill in color on a deside already made in the mold. They come out so beautiful! I am having so much fun with my new adventure in the art of soap making, that I would love everyone I can to introduce this wonderful craft too. I hope they love it in some way that I do,
