The project of Atlantic welding industrial base with total investment of 2850 million Renminbi which is located in Tianjin covers an area of 667,000 square meters. After the project is constructed and put into operation, annual output of welding materials can reach one million tons with total out-put value of ten billion. The Atlantic welding materials group is a joint-stock listed company which was grew out of Chinas first welding materials manufacturer China Welding Electrode Plant. Atlantic focus on mid- and high-end level welding materials researching and manufacturing, and its products are wildly used in numerous national projects such as China Three Gorges Dam Project, Beijing national stadium "Bird's Nest" and national natatorium water Cube", as well as other critical components in nuclear submarine, armored vehicle and civilian equipment. Thereinto, 90% of welding materials used in nuclear industry and nuclear submarine annually comes from brand of Atlantic.
