Tianjin Dongda Chemical Co., Ltd. is a professional food chemical supplier integrating research, development and production. Located in the chemical industrial park of Tianjin Binhai New Area and covering an area of 100,000 square meters, Tianjin Dongda Chemical Group Co., Ltd. is adjacent to Tianjin Port and possesses modernized management mechanism, self-innovated production technology with full automation. We are committed ourselves to improving the quality and reducing the consumption of products. The annual quantities of our main products are as follows:
Sodium benzoate power: 40,000 tons
Sodium benzoate granule: 15,000 tons
Sodium benzoate prismatical: 10,000 tons
Benzoic acid technical grade: 80,000 tons
Benzoic acid pharmaceutical and pabular grade: 5000 tons

The quantity of our products totals150,000 tons, with annual income totaling around 800 million Yuan. Our production capacity has been taking the lead in China.

We are now in possession of one key new product at national level, three technologies (products) for patent of invention; two items were listed in the municipal (district leveled) annual programs of technological development; three items were listed into the technological achievements that take the lead in the world. Our patented product -- sodium benzoate granule was included in the products of "National Spark Program" and listed into the catalogue of the new products of the State in 2007. We, along with Tianjin University of Science Technology, incorporated a joint venture as the centre for research and development of food additives, from which many research achievements were awarded.

Our products have complied with such national standards as GB1901-2005, GB1902-2005, BP-2000 standard, E211 standard of the EU and USP-24 standard. 90% of our products have been sold to Europe, America and the Middle East, and our products have received favorable comments from these countries and regions.

Our company has been conferred successively with such titles as "one of the top 100 enterprises engaged in the food additives in China", "technological private enterprise", "national enterprise with technical innovation" and we have also been granted with such national awards as "Awards for Chinese Middle & Small Enterprises for their Contributions in Science and Technology" and "Awards for Contributions in the Progress of Science and Technology".

Our company has received ISO9001:2000 certificate of quality management system, license for the production of food additives, license for safe production and HACCP certificate of approval of international food safety, Halal-an international Islamic approval and Kosher-an International Judean certificate.

The development objective of Dongda is to strive for the No. 1 in food additive field in the world. In order to enlarge the size of the group, we have already purchased 180 acres of land in Nangang Industrial Area, Tianjin Binhai New Area, and invested 1.2 billion Yuan in building an industrial park of food additives, which can annually yield 150,000 tons of benzoic acid with technical and pabular grades, 100,000 tons of series of sodium benzoate with pabular grade, and sea food and fine chemical products with high added-value. We will also try to build a complete set of industrial park with high quality and high added-value, possessing world's advanced technology in Nangang Industrial Area, Tianjin Binhai New Area.
