Water coming out of production ponds is re-circulated in oxidation ponds in order to maintain good water quality and steady salinity conditions throughout the year.  This is essential to grow Tilapia Chitralada, a low-salinity species with higher growth (up to 60 grams/week) and better feed conversion rate  (<1.5).
