In addition to the regular furniture range Touchwood also produce unique individually handcrafted pieces such as Rustic ox cart wagon wheel and tree root sculptures, and of course the contemporary solid teak garden and patio furniture for those who dont like the old classic or rustic look.
Touchwood also provides a refinishing and restoration service to upgrade your old cherished pieces.
The refinishing, repair and restoration service is performed for solid wood teak furniture locally by skilled craftsmen in our own workshop.

Most of our reproductions, new furniture and carvings are individually hand crafted from old recycled solid teak of the utmost quality which is naturally impervious to rotting and parasite.
The majority of this old teak comes from old houses, cart wheels, railway sleepers or simply salvaged from old damaged furniture etc.
Our second selection is made from sustainable manmade plantation wood when any new wood may be used. An example of this is our high export quality classic Italian range, which is made from specially steam treated and hardened old unproductive rubber tree wood. The treatment makes the rubber wood known locally as Mai Yang Para wood into a durable hardwood with high resistance against deterioration by rot or parasite infestation for many years. It is also very suitable for all climates hot cold humid and dry thus it will not warp or crack.
