UKRAINIAN BUSINESS COMMUNICATION CENTRE (UBCC) was established under the TACIS initiative at the UKRAINIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY in 1994.

UBCC main aim is to explore market opportunities in Ukraine and to develop business-to-business synergies and companies co-operation.

UBCC is self-supporting organization. The operation is based on the developed methodology of self-sustainability in business information market of the country in transition and methodology of individualized business services to clients.

UBCC partnerships within Ukraine include the networks of UBCC co-founders - the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Ukrainian League of Entrepreneurs in Agro-Industrial Complex, the Association For Support of Private Entrepreneurship Development in Ukraine Ednannja; each network has its outlets in every region of Ukraine. UBCC is also a member of All-Ukrainian Association of Business Information Centers. This Association consists at the moment of 15 business information centers and covers 19 regions. UBCC works, as Ukrainian Business Communication Centerll, with local SME associations, business centers, agencies, depending upon the assingments.

UBCC Services can be rendered at different levels, targeted at special or single tasks (e.g., business information, search for partners according to indicated criteria, first stage consulting) or at fully integrated project (e.g., business planning and programming, development of co-operation deal, distribution channels), including, if required, both operational and complementary actions (i.e. access to finance, training, negotiations logistics and follow-up).
UBCC staff cooperates with outer part-time and/or project-span experts.

SOME FACTS
To date UBCC has served to more than 4500 clients. There were registered about 3700 business contacts. UBCC regularly undertakes partner search and market overview tasks. It assisted in preparation of export/import deals, including direct assistance in signing of 31 deals, organized 36 pre-arranged group or individual business missions, establishment of 2 joint ventures in food and construction sectors, assisted in negotiating of several other joint ventures. Provided training to around 100 Ukrainian entrepreneurs. Contributed to seminars and the relevant undertakings, referring to market-oriented policy-making into Ukraine. The Business Guide to Ukraine with basic and up-dated information about the tax, investment, foreign trade, labor and other legal regulations, as well as the costs of production factors, was produced.
