The original company started out as a sub-contractor for toy manufacturers in the Philippines. Later it entered into a joint venture agreement with a major Korean toy manufacturer. During this time the Philippines and the toy industry was at its best times, and the heightened demand in plush toy products prompted the owners to create a new factory Alexander Toys International. However, the advent of the Asian financial crisis hurt the toy industry. This resulted to the transformation of Jemen Industries and Alexander Toys International into AMJ Gifts then to WEEXT OYS. Today, WEEXT TOYS is considered one of the Philippines pioneers in the industry. Our edge is our experience in the industry together with OUR FLEXIBILITY. We can produce and manufacture export quality products even at a low quantity. This allows small retailers who are having a hard time from ordering from other factories in China an alternative sourcing center. Its founders were the pioneers in the Philippine plush toy industry with clients such as Walt-Disney, Applause Inc., Mc Donald’s, Mercedes Benz Germany, and Hudson Bay Canada among others. It has more than 15 years experience in the export industry wherein its products has reached major markets in the World specifically those of in Europe, North America and Australia. In addition, we have manufactured well known licensed items such as Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Mini Mouse, Donald Duck, Tasmanian Devil, DC Devil; and MC Donald’s Happy Meal Treats among others.
