ZAPs in water can dissociate tripolyphosphate anion which is a kind of strong chelating agent to form complex compound with released ferric ion by electrochemical reaction on the metal surfce. This has the effect of making the iron surface inert and gradually forms a fine layer of phosphate on the substrate surface further contributing to the rust prevention. are far superior to the other pigments and can improve your formulation and save cost.
ZAPs can be added in less amount for the paint to save cost.
