Zhejiang Special Electric Motor Co., Ltd. is situated in the urban district of Shengzhou City, which has very convenient transportation that are close to Hangzhou, Shanghai and Ningbo Port.

Zhejiang Special Electric Motor Co., Ltd. is an enterprise who uses sophisticated technology and specially develops and produces small and medium alternating current motors and micro motors with 50 years' experience. The predecessor of our company is Zhejiang Special Electric Motor Works which was established in 1958 as a medium-size enterprise and was restructured as a limited-liability company in 1997.

With fixed assets of one hundred and sixty million RMB, our company covers an area of 200,000 square meters, including 108,000 square meters of construction area. There are over 800 employees, including many specialized technical personnel. Our company has strong technical force and advanced special hardware and testing equipment. The annual production capability is two million KWs of small and medium AC motors with "SAN BAO" brand and five million sets of micro motor.

As the headquater, Zhejiang Special Electric Motor has one Research&development Institute(R&D) and one Technical Dept for motor design and development, and mainly has three factories for manufacturing. Small&mediuem size motor factory, mainly deal with small and medium size AC three phase induction motors, including YX3 high-efficiency & energy-saving motors, YZR & YZ112-315 hoisting & metallurgical motors, Y & Y2 whole series motors, YVF whole series frequency-variable speed-adjustable motors, SZY112-280 special purpose motors for injection machines, YD series multi-speed motors and the motors used in electric flat carriage. Our Micro Motor Company deals with electric motors used in home appliances and commercial machines, such as kinds of AC/DC brushless motors for refrigerators and air-conditioning compressors, electric motors used in high-pressure cleaners, pulverizers and tile cutters. Our Wind Power Company produces generators and wind power systems.

In 1997, our company firstly passed the evaluation of ISO9001 quality control system certification in the motor industry and our products have passed the evaluation of CCC, CE, GS, CSA and UL certifications. Our company has been appraised as "Shengzhou Big Taxpayer", "Zhejiang Advanced and New Technology Enterprise", "Zhejiang Small Giant Enterprise", "Province Grade Advanced Unit" and "Province-Grade Civic Virtues Unit" and our products were awarded as "Zhejiang Province Brand Name Product" in 2001.
