Shandong Pacific Fiber Optics Co., Ltd. (SPFO) is a high and new tech enterprise jointly invested by Asian Pacific Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. (PEWC) and Shandong Yanggu Electric Cable Group Co., Ltd. in 1999.
After several years of development, SPFO has the production capacity of 3 million core kilometres and 120,000 long kilometres of optical cable annually. Now, the Company has 242 employees, including 126 with college degree or above, and 12% employees was trained professionally in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.
In 2002, after capital increase and market expansion, SPFO has constructed the largest Modern Optical Cable Manufacturing Shop in the north of the Yellow River. Plant covers more than 280 square kilometers, while shop area reaches 22,000 square meters and storage area is more than 2000 square meters.
SPFO has a registered capital of 60 million Yuan, and its factory area covers more than 280 square kilometers, while shop area reaches 22,000 square meters. Now, the Company is staffed with 182 employees, including 102 productive workers, 29 managers and 51 inspect and service technicians. And 126 employees have college degree or above, 32 have intermediate and above titles, and 30% employees have been trained professionally in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.
After 10 years' development, SPFO has the productive capacity of 2 million core kilometres of optical cable annually. It can manufacture series of production of Central Bunch Tube, Layer Twisted, All Dielectric Self-support Optical Cable (ADSS), Optical Fiber Ribbon Cable and Indoor Optical Cable. And it has passed the certifications of ISO9001-2000 Quality Management System, ISO14001-2004 Environmental Management System and OHSAS180001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
